Start a Kissimmee inspection request with jurisdiction and work type, not a mailing address alone. The City’s inspection page warns that a Kissimmee address can be in unincorporated Osceola County. The earlier guide’s generic fire-authority row obscured the City’s stated booking route. It also attributed this matrix to the general permits landing page; the inspection page is the actual source. Routing a request through Building does not mean every work type has an identical inspection sequence.
The general Permits & Inspections page separately warns that its building steps do not include any required site-plan or use approval. This guide assumes an actual permitted scope; it does not determine whether a new project qualifies for a permit exemption.
Prepare access and the approved version
The City says approved plans and permits must be accessible at the jobsite. Personal attendance is not required unless access is needed. Before the visit, check that the available plans are the approved revision for the work being inspected—not an earlier drawing or an unapproved contractor markup. A request does not reserve a precise arrival time
The page describes ordinary inspections as usually 7 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday–Friday, excluding holidays, with assignments depending on workload and licensing. After-hours requests must be written to the building official. The page gives a minimum four-hour charge for weekend and holiday inspections but directs readers to the current fee resolution for rates. That is not a four-hour completion guarantee or a quoted dollar price. After-hours instruction
Resolve the failed item before requesting another inspection

At closeout, match each result to its own issued scope. A Toho release does not replace a City building result; a building certificate is not proof that every unrelated project obligation is complete.
