Corrections Policy

How to report an error and how Local Service Ledger records material corrections, meaningful updates, source changes, and archived work.

Submit a correction

Email corrections@localserviceledger.com with the article URL, the statement at issue, the reason it may be wrong, and any primary source or documentation that helps us check it. You do not need a business relationship with the publication.

How we review reports

We compare the article with its recorded sources, inspect new evidence, verify jurisdiction and dates where relevant, and seek clarification when the record conflicts. A request from a subject does not automatically produce a change, and a commercial relationship does not prevent one.

How changes appear

A material factual correction is displayed on the article with the correction date, an explanation of what changed and why, sources changed, and the recorded reviewer. Meaningful updates change the modification date. Trivial formatting or automated rebuilds do not.

Review dates and archives

Time-sensitive pricing and regulatory articles can carry a review-by date. If information can no longer be supported, the article may return to review or be archived. Archived pages remain clearly labeled and may be noindexed rather than silently abandoned.
