Eustis’ next published 2026 quarterly cleanup is November 2–6. It is not the only way to arrange a bulky-item pickup: customers can request ordinary large-item collection throughout the year. During a cleanup week, the City says bulk collection follows the customer’s regular collection day. A mechanical truck handles items the regular vehicle cannot collect during that week. The window is not a reservation for a particular hour. Cleanup schedule
Choose the route for the item, not just the date
Furniture or another large household item: ask Utility Customer Service at 352-589-4333 about an ordinary request if you do not want to wait for the cleanup window. Confirm the item’s eligibility and any charge before putting it out. Requests
An appliance: the City separately tells customers to call for white-goods scheduling. Do not assume a refrigerator or water heater belongs in the ordinary cart because a cleanup is approaching. Appliance instructions
Yard debris: preparation and origin still matter. Customer Service specifies four-foot branch lengths, no more than six inches in diameter or 50 pounds, and a three-cubic-yard total limit. Hired landscape, land-clearing and tree-trimming services must remove what they generate. Yard rules
Pallets or construction debris: the quarterly program expressly excludes them. A no-charge week does not convert project waste into accepted household bulk. Exclusions
Do not turn a rate row into an invented quote
The City’s January 1, 2026 charge table lists $25.52 per yard for bulk waste over three yards and no charge for quarterly cleanup. The wording does not explain rounding or whether a particular invoice charges all volume or only volume beyond the threshold. Ask for the calculation for the proposed pickup. Dated charge table
That bulk charge row also does not authorize exceeding the separate yard-debris limit. Describe the material, who generated it and its approximate quantity when asking. These three details help Customer Service distinguish an ordinary bulk request from yard waste or excluded work debris.
