What two cubic yards looks like
The City gives 6 feet × 3 feet × 3 feet as the two-cubic-yard example. LSL reproduces the arithmetic:
6 × 3 × 3 = 54 cubic feet; 54 ÷ 27 = 2 cubic yards.
Measure length, width and height in feet before comparing. A rectangular bounding box is a planning approximation for an irregular pile, not the collector’s guaranteed volume determination. Keep collection access clear
The collection page warns against placement near overhead wires or trees, sprinklers and utility boxes. A pile can fit the volume allowance but still be poorly placed for collection. Items that do not belong in this pickup
The City excludes car batteries, oil, paint, propane tanks, fluorescent lights, dead animals, chemicals and concrete. Its page refers readers to the Lake County landfill at 352-343-3776. Dates that need a fresh answer
At the September 20, 2026 review, the collection page’s rate table explicitly covered February 1, 2025–January 31, 2026. This guide does not quote that expired schedule as the current charge. Its holiday list also contains inconsistent date wording, so confirm a holiday pickup with the City rather than silently correcting the notice or assuming the normal weekday applies.
LSL compared the two City pages, separated the annual and weekly allowances and reproduced the volume example. No individual pickup history, current fee quote or receiving-facility acceptance was checked.
