For an ambiguous item, describe it rather than relying on a broad label such as “electronics.” Ask about the item, quantity, address, preparation and any charge before moving it outside. The page says scheduled appliance collection is usually free for residential customers; that is not a guarantee for every load. Follow its appliance-preparation instructions for the item being collected.
Prepare yard debris separately
The published maximums are four feet long and six inches in diameter. Small material needs bags or containers; larger pieces need tied bundles. LSL’s pre-setout check: identify the longest piece, check the thickest piece separately, then confirm the small material is contained and the larger material secured. Passing one size check does not establish the other. The City’s phrase “reasonable amounts” supplies no numeric volume entitlement; ask about a large pile instead of assuming unlimited collection.
Plastic pots, ground-cover sheeting, lumber and fencing are not classified as yard debris. Do not hide those items inside a vegetation bundle.
