Moving a Hillsborough County Water Resources account does not automatically tell the County when to stop service at the old address. Specify both dates if you need both actions. This LSL moving note helps prevent an open-ended overlap. Keep the County’s actual confirmations with it; a moving company’s booking or possession date is not a utility work order.
Start and stop days are not identical
The County lists starts Monday–Friday and stops Monday–Thursday, both 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; it does not stop service on weekends, Fridays or the day before a County holiday. Moving requires a current account balance. Its page lists a $25 setup charge for starting or moving, a potentially waivable starting deposit, and possible extra deposit when overlap exceeds ten days. Before choosing a Friday moving date, ask which stop date is available and what overlap that would create. Do not calculate charges by assuming an unavailable stop day will be accepted.
New customers: do not upload identification to this form
The County says applicants without a previous account number need phone or in-person identification verification. Its listed routes differ: Social Security card by phone, passport by phone with a deposit, or driver license in person by appointment.
