Maitland charges a 3/4-inch single-family account a $16.25 water base and a $24.26 sewer base. Water consumption moves through progressively higher blocks; sewer uses $8.80 per thousand gallons at all volumes shown on the City page.
Apply each water block only to its slice
The City schedule prices water at $2.02 per thousand through 6,000 gallons, $3.06 for 6,001–12,000, $4.07 for 12,001–18,000, and $8.16 over 18,000.

Keep service type visible
The City lists different per-unit bases and usage boundaries for multifamily accounts; do not apply this single-family table to an apartment account. Irrigation has its own base and block structure. Larger meters use different bases. The City also publishes deposits, meter installation, connections, taps, testing, disconnect, and reconnect fees. Those are not ordinary water-and-sewer usage rows and are not part of this table.
Compare the calculation with the meter size, usage period, and actual gallons on the Utility Billing account information. Taxes, garbage, stormwater, penalties, credits, or adjustments may change the statement total.
The combined column is a two-service rate check, not a household budget or promise of what an address will owe.
LSL rechecked both official pages and recalculated all three examples on September 20, 2026. The rate page does not state an effective date, so confirm the applicable service period with Utility Billing rather than treating this review date as a rate change. The City’s billing explanation bases sewer on all potable-water consumption; the example does not import a cap from a neighboring utility.
