For an inside-city Class A residential account, the Altamonte Springs schedule can be checked as separate facility and consumption components. Water starts with $4.64; sewer starts with $9.24. Consumption is then applied by block rather than charging all gallons at the highest reached rate.

Water is $1.66 per 1,000 gallons for the first 3,000, $3.19 for the next 4,000, and $3.99 for the next 23,000. Sewer is $3.02 per 1,000 for the first 3,000, $6.09 for the next 4,000, and $6.38 for the next 4,000. The schedule prints $58.91 beside sewer use over 11,000 gallons without clearly explaining that row’s treatment. These examples stop at 10,000 gallons; ask Utility Services how to apply the higher-volume row instead of assuming it is a fixed maximum.

Round after each service calculation. If the City’s billing engine rounds at a different intermediate step, retain the small difference rather than altering an input to force a match.

Taxes, irrigation, reclaimed service, sanitation, stormwater, deposits, adjustments, and account-specific charges are outside this table. Confirm inside-city classification and metered gallons through Utility Services. Compare the meter period with the rate schedule’s effective period before investigating a difference.
LSL rechecked the schedule and service page on September 20, 2026 and independently reproduced the arithmetic. The schedule says it applies to bills rendered after October 1, 2025; that effective-period wording is distinct from this review date.
