For a City of Kissimmee permit, use the City’s inspection page to reach its current portal. Before booking, identify the work being inspected and check that the inspector can reach it. A request is not evidence that the inspection occurred or passed.
Route the visit by work type
The inspection instructions distinguish these contacts:

An identical street address does not make these one inspection. Where work crosses the boundary—for example, plumbing connected to utility service—ask which inspection each office requires.
Prepare the site, not just the booking
The City says approved plans and permits must be accessible on site; personal attendance is needed when necessary for access. Its usual inspection window is 7 a.m.–4 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays, not a guaranteed arrival time.
Before leaving, compare the work ready for inspection with the requested phase and approved drawings. If an access arrangement or incomplete task could prevent inspection, resolve it with the office rather than assuming a portal request settles readiness.
Read the result before requesting another visit
The City locates failure explanations in the permit box or on the permit card and gives 407-518-2379 for questions. Failed or missed inspection charges must be paid before rescheduling. Keep the stated deficiency beside the corrective work so the next visit addresses the actual issue, not a guess about why the inspection failed.
For after-hours work, submit a written request to the building official; weekend/holiday inspections have a four-hour minimum charge. Ask for the applicable rate rather than deriving a price from that minimum alone.
Match completion to the permit’s scope
The permit application guide provides a status route and tells permit holders to download applicable approved documents from Citizen Self-Service. Compare the final result with that approved scope and ask the City what completion document the particular permit requires. Do not turn general building-occupancy wording into a claim that every minor repair produces a new occupancy certificate.
