The District defines the daylight-saving period as the second Sunday in March through the first Sunday in November. Its ordinary restrictions prohibit watering from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and limit each zone to three-quarters of an inch and one hour per irrigation day. Do not copy a shortage schedule without checking its geography

LSL checked that distinction on September 20, 2026; it is not a guarantee against a later order or an additional local restriction. Before changing a timer, check both the City’s page and the District’s current notices for the property’s location. Applying whichever schedule appears first on a regional page can import another area’s restrictions.
A timer check that catches the common mismatch
For an ordinary residential schedule, read the last digit of the street number, select the current season’s row, and inspect every active timer program. An old second program can still run on a day you removed from the main program.
As an LSL illustration, a home numbered 102 uses the even-address row: Thursday/Sunday in daylight saving time, Sunday in standard time. A home numbered 101 uses Wednesday/Saturday, then Saturday. These examples illustrate the table; they are not investigated properties or individualized permission to water.
Write the next seasonal change beside the timer, and recheck active drought notices at that point. Do not extend run time simply because the ordinary winter schedule has fewer days.
Check exceptions separately
The City says restrictions cover wells and pumped water as well as utility supplies. It lists exceptions involving certain methods or purposes, including new landscaping and reclaimed water.
