Lodi’s September 2026 waterline work concerns Bank Street, Wooster Street, Harris Street and Lee Drive, according to the Mayor’s September 9 letter. The letter says work began that month and was expected to continue through the rest of the year. That is a project-wide description, not a date for interruption or restoration at an individual home. What changed after the original announcement
The August 26 announcement scheduled installation to begin September 2. The later Mayor’s letter reports that the project had begun and identifies the four streets. It also reports a $499,000 Ohio Public Works Commission Small Government grant toward the replacement work; that is the Mayor’s reported grant amount, not a verified total project cost or amount spent. Use the right notice for the right problem
Lodi also posted a September 11 notice about the 100 block of Redfield Street being closed because of culvert damage. That notice describes a different cause; it should not be treated as the waterline project’s street list or evidence of a water outage. No reopening date appears in that notice. Report a service change without guessing its cause
If contacting the Village about pressure, color or loss of service, describe what changed, when it began and where it is occurring. Include any notice delivered to the property. Ask for current utility instructions rather than assuming construction explains the condition or deciding water is safe from appearance alone.
