Tampa’s HVAC replacement checklist sends the AHRI certificate to Accela and asks for installation photographs through VuSpex. Keep those two parts of the packet distinct: a clear equipment photo does not replace the certificate upload. City HVAC checklist

The image requirements then follow the condenser, air handler and electrical supply. For properties with multiple systems, the checklist specifically asks for permanent labels on both the condensing and air-handling units.

One identity card for each system

Use this LSL card to review the information the installer provides. It organizes the packet; it is not an AHRI certificate or an independent equipment-matching test.

Keep identifiers as shown on the supplied records. If a photo is unreadable or a system label is inconsistent, ask the installer to clarify the association. Do not assume this card proves that the equipment combination meets its certificate, design or code requirements.

The photos also need installation context

For the condensing unit, the City checklist asks for surrounding clearances, anchorage, the pad, a level placed on the condenser, refrigerant locking caps and applicable line-set covering/rodent protection. The identity card above does not replace these wider installation views.

For the air handler, preserve support and service-access context, filter access and the relevant duct connections. The drainage items continue onto page two: maintenance access, trap and termination, with auxiliary pan, auxiliary drain/float switch and condensate pump evidence where applicable. Duct modifications are also conditional.

Ask the installer which conditional items apply. The checklist names evidence to provide; this reference does not determine the required drainage design for a particular installation.

Electrical views belong with qualified personnel

The City requests an uncovered disconnect-panel view showing wiring information, as well as electrical-panel/subpanel breaker labels, sizes and wiring serving the replaced equipment. Do not open those covers or expose wiring to complete the packet. Arrange any necessary access and documentation through qualified personnel.

The connection between those images and the named system is the useful final check: can the installer explain which replaced equipment each electrical record serves?

Hand off the packet, then check the response

The checklist says a submitted VuSpex photo set schedules the inspection for the following business day. The City program page describes inspection/results generated in Accela without separate Accela scheduling. Submission is not approval; check the inspector’s response.
