A utility-availability inquiry and opening an account answer different questions in Tarpon Springs. Use the City’s parcel inquiry to establish which services are available; contact Utility Billing when you need to establish service. A nearby pipe or neighboring connection is not a response for your parcel. City utility hub

Prepare the parcel inquiry

The Water Conveyance form asks you to select each requested service. Reclaimed water and irrigation supplied with potable water are separate choices; selecting one does not ask about both.

Form choiceWhat to settle before sending
ServicesSelect the applicable potable-water, sanitary-sewer, reclaimed-water and potable-irrigation choices.
MeterChoose the requested size: 3/4 inch, 1 inch or 2 inches and larger. If the project requirement is unsettled, ask Water Conveyance rather than guessing from an existing meter.
PropertyIdentify residential or commercial use and the specific parcel. The street-address field allows an address if available.
SurveyAttach the available property survey; the upload field expressly says “if available.” Ask the division what it needs if the missing survey prevents it from evaluating your request.

Provide an email address you monitor. The form says the result is sent only by email, and the resulting statement expires one year after issuance. Calculate the expiry from the statement’s issue date, not the date you submitted the inquiry. The optional emailed copy of your form is not the City’s availability determination. Availability, connection costs and account setup go to different contacts

Use this short call note after receiving a statement: “For parcel ___, the statement dated ___ identifies ___ services. What connection work and charges apply to this project, and what must happen before opening the account?” It keeps the service determination attached to the next question without treating it as a construction approval or price quotation.

The form lists 727-937-2557 for Water Conveyance. The utility hub separately lists 727-942-5617 for water/wastewater connections and fees, and 727-942-5609 for Utility Billing and new-service setup. Use the department that matches the unresolved question. Availability form · Department routing

Scope of this reference

LSL compared the complete operative form and utility-hub text on September 21, 2026. The preparation table and follow-up note are editorial aids, not additional City requirements. We did not submit a parcel, size a meter or obtain a connection estimate. Return to the linked form before applying, particularly if an earlier statement has expired or the project has changed.
