The latter citation is an August 2, 2024 storm notice used for its 911 instruction, not evidence of an active storm or current emergency operating level.
KUA limits its work to trees on its easements or rights-of-way or trees endangering its lines and equipment. That does not mean every tree on a customer’s property qualifies. The utility describes a normal two-to-three-year inspection/pruning cycle, but that cycle is not a promised response time for an individual request. Service scope

For routine follow-up, keep the confirmation and the location reported. Ask whether the request was received and whether KUA needs a clearer location; do not treat intake as an inspection finding or a scheduled pruning date.
